Our client is a leading software product firm recruiting a Business Development Manager with a background and connections within the Marine Logistics (marine freight/ asset movement) industry.
The successful applicant will be tasked with Sales and Business Development, managing the sales and market development for software solutions by developing relationships within the Marine Logistics sector and maximising customer satisfaction.
The client is looking for someone with comprehensive technical, direct sales and marketing experience for the delivery of software to the Marine Logistics sector. Professionals with an in depth knowledge of the Logistics market and associated contacts and ability to speak right language.
As this is a specialist role, and as much as the client would like someone from the UK, they are open to global candidates in order to get the right skillset.
Background & qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or similar)
- 5+ years of direct software direct sales and marketing experience for the delivery of software to the Marine Logistics sector
- Experience and ability to work internationally
The salary and benefits package is open to negotiation with the standard package already being blue chip.
