Database Application Developer
We are recruiting a Database Application Developer for an established and world leading software client based in Edinburgh. Our client is one of the country’s true success stories with a historic worldwide client and users base gained over 30 years of growth.
We are seeking an experienced Database Application Developer to join our clients’ development team in their Edinburgh office. The successful applicant will be joining an established team and be tasked with developing relational databases and AWS hosted software deployments.
The successful candidate will be expected to have experience in the following areas:
- A Computer Science (or similar) Degree
- Skilled as a Database Application Developer
- Solid Database Design & Optimisation
- PostgreSQL v9.5 (or more recent)
- SQL 2003 (or more recent)
- Some programming skills in C++ (11+), Perl and/or Python
- Web Servers e.g. Lighttpd, FastCGI
- Linux OS exposure
