We are looking for a skilled Automated Software Test Engineer for an established, world-leading client based in Edinburgh.
The successful applicant will join as an important member of our clients established software product team, testing cutting edge software used to solve complex engineering problems across the globe.
Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of experience of software testing and a good understanding of software development principles and lifecycle.
Activities will include:

UI & automated script-based testing

Define test cases for software product features

Define and implement new software release test plans.

Logging and track any issues to assist product teams.

Develop test environments on virtual/remote machines.

Investigating & perform root cause analysis of any reported issues.

Play a part in contributing towards the test strategy. Develop new test strategies for software validation including the assessment of technologies and methods used for the continuous integration, test, and product delivery.
Skills & background:
-
3+ years of enterprise level software testing.

A good understanding of software development processes.

Good writing skills (for documenting the software).

An IT or Tech related degree e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics etc.

Any experience or interest in .NET C#, SQL Server, Automated Test Frameworks would be advantageous.
Package:
