People looking for IT jobs in the UK may find it easier to get a position after a reported a rise in demand for the sector. There has been a noted a 23 per cent increase in demand for IT professionals in the third quarter of this year. A 25 per cent drop in the number of people applying for these positions, meaning those looking for jobs may find it easier to get work. Many IT professionals who had put their career aspirations on hold due to the economic climate are now beginning to test the water." Computing giant Microsoft has also predicted that more than 80,000 UK IT jobs will be created as new firms start up. The organisation said that the spend on IT will lead to the formation of nearly 2,500 new businesses and 78,200 positions before 2013.
