We are looking for Graduate Software Developers for an exciting role that offers the successful candidates to develop cutting edge software for our Glasgow based client.
Our client will invest in the successful candidates skills and offers the amazing opportunity to initially work with the established software development team in their offices in the canal lined city of Ghent in Belgium. During your time in Ghent, you will be taught and learn our clients complex systems, application server, and workflow system software. After this period, you will then move back to Glasgow and work from their development office in Glasgow city centre.
In respect to the Ghent period, all aspects have been taken care of. Our client will provide regular flights back to Glasgow as well as all living and accommodation expenses during this process so it is a real opportunity to experience life and culture in another country/ city whilst working on and begin trained on the company software and architecture.
Our client requires applicants to have skills and experience as follows (a strong mix):
- A minimum of a 2:1 in a Software / IT degree.
- Established understanding or experience in the use of an OO Development language (C++ / Java etc).
- Databases skills e.g. Oracle, SQL, MySQL etc.
- The ability and willingness to adapt and learn new development languages is a must.
