We are looking for candidates with commercial experience in C or C++ programming on Unix and / or Linux platforms for an impressive Software client in Edinburgh.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
The position involves the delivery of software design and development programs to agreed plans, timescales and quality.
Minimum Essential Requirements:
We require the successful candidate to be self motivated, flexible and able to implement solutions to work in a demanding and complex operational environment. The candidate must also be an excellent team player and a good communicator, both written and spoken.
Skills:
Essential: C or C++ programming on Unix / Linux platforms
Desirable (but not essential) : GUI’s, postgreSQL, Motif, Gnome-GTK, GUI Builders, Client-Server, XML, postgreSQL
